Movement Instructors for Early Childhood Age


This course qualifies instructors in the field of movement for children aged 2-6, to work in daycare centers, kindergartens, indoor halls (community centers), and for parent-child movement activities for early childhood. The course focuses on learning how to teach movement to young generations in ways that are suitable for their developmental stages.

Special tools and methods will be provided for teaching movement to children through a variety of activities and games, including the appropriate use of movement stimulation tools, music, and songs that align with child development.

Target Audience:

All qualified individuals in the field of education who work with early childhood, specializing in movement and physical education, kindergarten teachers, educators/trainers, counselors, caregivers, and anyone who loves working with young children.


Curriculum Plan:

During the Early Childhood Movement Instructor course, there will be meetings with kindergarten and preschool children, as well as enrichment sessions with experts in early childhood movement education. These sessions will cover a variety of topics such as: guided imagination, yoga for children, balance, and more.

Workshops in topics related to teaching movement for early childhood:

  • Movement components for early childhood.

  • Holidays.

  • Seasons.

  • Animals.

  • Children's stories with movements.

  • Musical enrichment and meetings with composers who write specifically for early childhood.

  • Familiarity with a wide variety of tools and their correct use.

  • Practical experience in peer guidance and meetings with kindergarten and preschool children.

  • Activities with games and gymboree equipment.

Theoretical Topics:

  • The importance of movement in child development, principles of working with early childhood generations, lesson planning.

  • Sensory development in children.

  • Developmental psychology.

  • Physical development aspects in child growth.

Duration of the course:

  • Theoretical section: 80 hours – in the college.

  • Practical section: 160 hours – in the college.

  • First aid: 28 hours – in the college.

  • Total: 240 educational hours.


High school graduation certificate and a personal interview.
