Damage Assessment – Vehicle Appraisal

With the increasing number of road accidents in the country and the resulting damage to vehicles, there is an urgent need for an assessor to estimate the extent of the material damage to the vehicle as a step to determine compensation from insurance companies or as evidence of damages in courts. Not only that, but the assessor also provides a full report to the insurance company on the percentage of loss incurred by the vehicle's value after each accident. This also applies in cases where the vehicle is deemed unfit for use.

Additionally, the assessor can work independently with insurance companies, or work in insurance companies, car companies, or as a representative from auto repair garages.
