Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is considered one of the oldest treatments known to humans in various societies, such as China, Greece (especially during the time of Hippocrates, the father of Greek medicine), and ancient Egypt (evidence of it has been found in carvings on the walls of the tombs of pharaohs and their temples).

Then, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came and encouraged people to use it, saying: "Whoever gets cupped on the seventeenth, nineteenth, and twenty-first [of the month], it is a cure for every disease." "When I passed by the angels during my night journey, every one of them said to me: 'O Muhammad, you must practice cupping.'" In another hadith, he said: "The best of what you can treat yourselves with is cupping."
