 Optics, or the science of light, is a branch of physics and engineering through which the properties of light are studied, including its production, transmission, detection, measurement, and usage.

In this field of study, students learn about types of optical devices, the eye as an optical instrument, measurements related to the eye and glasses, how to equip glasses with the latest technology, and the marketing and management of optical businesses.

Through this program, students are qualified to receive a certified optical specialist (אופטיקאי מוסמך) certificate, enabling them to practice this profession in laboratories, companies, or institutions involved in the marketing and manufacturing of glasses and lenses.

The optics program at the Qasemi College of Engineering and Science is distinguished by:
